A Dweller On Two Planets

If there are sermons in stones and books in the running brooks, then Tehastel’s craggy pile a noble library, in veritas. In it the vastness, the grandeur and the solemnity of nature are expressed in mystic numbers carved in the eternal granite. On those stony, stratified pages, Nature’s students may read the doings of the gnomes, mother earth’s treasurers. Here, too, in characters of lava is writ Pluto’s kingly record. (CONTINUE…)

A Fragment of the Ancient Continent of Lemuria

SCIENTIFIC DATA and historical research have supplied abundant evidence that there existed at some prehistoric time a vast Southern Continent to which the name Lemuria has been aptly applied. The acceptance of the existence of such an area rationally accounts for many existing anomalies, and helps to clear a great many inexplicable difficulties in the evolution and distribution of organic life. (CONTINUE…)

Telos: Underground City of Mount Shasta

Telos is the alleged Lemurian underground city of Mount Shasta. Mysterious stories about an underground city were one factor that attracted me to live in Mount Shasta. I asked Steve Reynolds, the teacher of an English course on critical writing at the College of the Siskiyous, if I could use Telos as the subject of my special project. He granted my desire. In an informal survey I asked twenty people at the college, if they have heard about Telos of Mount Shasta.  (CONTINUE…)
